Dr. Cassitty Rose was born in and raised in Saranac Lake, NY. She earned her Bachelors degree from SUNY Oswego, then became an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician before enrolling as a student at Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly known as New York Chiropractic College) where she earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition. She is currently working towards certifications in pediatric and perinatal chiropractic treatment.
Dr. Cassitty takes a patient-centered approach by addressing the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. This means that she spends time with her patients, listens to their histories and looks at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. Dr. Cassitty believes that this approach supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual. Her approach to nutrition therapy is to emphasize the importance of high-quality foods and nutrient diversity to address clinical imbalances and move individuals toward the highest expression of health. Dr. Cassitty’s goal is to create personalized therapeutic interventions to promote optimal health and prevent diet- and lifestyle-related disease.
When Dr. Cassitty is not in the office, you can find her volunteering for Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department, working on the ambulance in Saranac Lake, or volunteering at Lil’ Tykes Daycare and Enrichment Center in Bloomingdale. She also enjoys golfing, kayaking, XC skiing, reading, fishing, playing hockey, the Washington Capitals, Taylor Swift and spending time with her family.
